Valencia’s extension one starts


Last week the first tanker arrived to the new facilities of TEPSA Valencia which unloaded 17.000m³ of fuel. So, it began the activity in the first stage of the terminal extension.

The plant next to the berth has a total storage capacity of 53.000m³ that it’s destined to storage petroleum products, chemical and biofuels. It has 8 carbon steel tanks and it has advanced load/unloading systems that fulfil the highest levels of security and environmental respect.

Extension two will be oriented to petroleum products and it is predicted to start operations in November 2011. This plant will reach 62.000m³ of capacity.

The Company has invested around 17 million Euros in these two extensions that will allow to triple its capacity in Valencia, with a total of 161.000m³.
