Last March the management of TEPSA selected the winning project for the Proactivity Award 2015.
Aspects such as improving teamwork, efficiency, reducing environmental impact and, in general, the contributions of workers towards innovations in the processes carried out in the terminals were all taken into account.
The winning entry was the one presented by Juan Antonio García Burgos, Alberto Gaseni and Javier Blasco, from the Tarragona terminal, for their project on the construction of a derivation and common manifold for eight tanks in line T5.
The winning project represents a reduction in costs and, at the same time, improves the environmental impact of the terminal due to a reduction in waste products from the cleaning processes associated with the ship lines.
An additional extraordinary award was also presented to Verónica Bañales, from the Bilbao terminal, for her project on the installation of new technologies for oil product loading operations. The Jury awarded the project as a recognition of her continuos search for technological solutions adapted to our operations which have made substantial improvements in the past and they will certainly continue in the future.
Congratulations to all the winners who, with their enthusiasm and innovation, have helped the company to continually offer a better service to our clients and to achieve more efficient oil product management for the common good.
